As one of the oldest Cognac houses around (they received a Royal Warrant to produce Cognac back in 1755!), you can bet they know a thing or two about crafted tasty spirits. The use eaux-de-vie from four different Crus of the region, resulting in a flavoursome VSOP.

Nose: Plenty of vanilla up front, with supporting notes of dried fig and raisin.
Palate: Plenty of vanilla up front, with supporting notes of dried fig and raisin.
Finish: Final hints of oak-y warmth.

Gautier is based in Aigre on the Osme river, also known as the Little Venice of Charente. The Maison Gautier Cellars were built in a unique location; a former watermill in Aigre on the Osme river, nicknamed the "Little Venice" of Charente. Et voilà, Maison Gautier was officially born. The heirs of Maison Gautier succeeded each other for over 10 generations, building the family business.
