The Oro de Jalisco Reposado Rosse tequila takes the unusual step of aging this tequila for six months not in oak barrels but rather in French wine barrels (a "finishing" practice often used with scotch). Oro de Jalisco tequilas are made by a small craft distiller using traditional volcanic stone ovens to roast the agave for their tequila. This aging gives the tequila a pink hue and very unusual aromas and flavor.
