(Port as-KAY-g) Port Askaig is a brand of Islay single malt whisky, named after the picturesque village of Port Askaig on Islay's northeastern coast. Unlike most whiskies, Port Askaig doesn’t come from a single distillery; instead, it is a carefully curated range of whiskies sourced from various distilleries across Islay, known for their smoky, peated profiles. Launched in 2009 by independent bottler Elixir Distillers, the brand offers expressions like Port Askaig 8 Year Old and Port Askaig 100° Proof.
