Springbank 1994 SpSp is a 27 year old Single Malt whisky from Scotland. Bottled in 2022 at 47.1% this bottle will make a fine addition to any Scotland Single Malt whisky lover. Please note that this Spheric Spirits (SpSp) is Refill Sherry Hogshead. It is also worth mentioning that this is uncolored, non-chillfiltered, cask strength, single cask whisky edition of Springbank. This is one of only 241 bottles ever produced. A fact, that makes this edition even more desirable.

Springbank 1994 Spheric Spirits 27 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: We're initially finding a mixture of lemons, apples and pears. The alcohol is apparent on the nose, backing up some oily, salty, mineral aromas.

Palate: Sweet lemon tart, salted caramel, butter biscuits. It's initially very sweet, but has a hit of acidity and salinity that brings the dram into balance as the palate evolves.

Finish: The finish continues for a good length showing light oak spice and caramel.

Distillery Information

The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
