This single cask expression from independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. was distilled in June 2007 at Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. Crafted with the distillery's peated malt barley (known as Ledaig in official bottlings from the distillery), this expression has been matured for 12 years in a single refill butt. Bottled at a preferred strength of 50% abv in September 2019, only 282 bottles have been produced.

If this single malt was released as an original distillery bottling, it would be named Ledaig, Tobermory's peated expression. However, this smoky delight comes to us from renowned indie bottler Hunter Laing & Co., released as part of the famous Old Malt Cask series of single cask expressions. This Island single malt was distilled in June 2007 from peated malt barley and matured for 12 years in a refill butt (#HL17154) before bottling at a preferred strength of 50% abv in September 2019. Just 282 bottles have been produced.

Nose: Peat, sea salt and pepper.
Palate: Peat smoke, fresh lemon and pear with a grassy note.
