The Yamazaki is one of the world’s great whiskies from Suntory, having won more international awards in the past decade than any other whisky in the world.This delightful whisky from their highly acclaimed “The Owner’s Cask” series is a single cask whisky that was bottled exclusively for Iwase Esta in Oskaka. It is very rare and full of amazing liquid.

Nose: The aromas have alight fruit notes with malt and spice.

Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Distillery Information

Wakatsuru is located in the Toyama Prefecture in the Chubu Region. Even though Whisky production only became possible in 1953, Wakatsuru Shozu Distillery started its Whisky production in 1862.
