The house of Caves Bernard-Massard is the main producer of sparkling wines in Luxembourg. This is a family run business that has been run by the family for over 5 generations. The ethos at Caves Bernard-Massard is to create sparkling wines of impeccable quality while respecting the local traditions and promoting social and environmental sustainability and progress. Caves Bernard-Massard produces approximately 3 500 000 bottles of sparkling wines very year making it the lead producer in Luxembourg. The wines are exported to more than 20 countries and have recieved a number of local and international awards for their excellent quality. The vineyards of Caves Bernard-Massard in Luxembourg extend for over 42 kms along the slopes of the Moselle. The soil on which they are planted is mainly calcareous and clay, providing terroir that is perfect for the production of fresh and fruity still and sparkling wines. The historic and amazing Caves Bernard-Massard building is lcoated in Grevenmacher in the northern parts of the Luxembourg vineyards. The building hosues the superb winery, the maturation cellars, the tools used for labelling the Caves Bernard-Massard wines and an extraordinary events venue. Along with the main estate, Caves Bernard-Massard has two partner estates at the Domaine Clos des Rochers and the Chateau de Schengen. The Caves Bernard-Massard wines that should not be missed include the Bernard Massard Auxerrois MN AOP, the Bernard Massard Cremant de Luxembourg – Roude Leiw, the Bernard Massard Cuvee Chardonnay and the Bernard Massard Cuvee de L’Ecusson Brut.
