      Detailed Description

A Vosne-Romanée in the purest style of the estate. A long maceration to extract supple and silky tannins, the choice of aging in slightly heated barrels in order to sign the wine with a delicate woody note, while highlighting the varietal range and the fruit.
In the end, a pinot noir marked by the minerality of the limestone soils, a pure expression without neglecting the depth and length of the mouth.

        Producer Information

The history of the family estate began in 1930. Paul Misset, Philippe Chéron's grandfather, acquired the vines in 1930 in the communes of Voguent and Vosne-Romanée. As he was neither a winegrower nor a winemaker, he entrusted his vines to farmers from Vosne-Romanée. Two generations later, Paul Misset's grandchildren transformed the plots into a 5-hectare wine estate. An estate located on prestigious appellations; Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle Musigny, Vosne Romanée and Clos de Vougeot. In 2011, Philippe Chéron takes over the family estate and gives the vines the benefit of his wisdom. The vines, which are on average 40 years old, are planted exclusively with Pinot Noir. Philippe Chéron's challenge is to preserve the family heritage while respecting the old vines, which is why the vineyard's cultivation practices are based on sustainable viticulture.
