Producer Information
Diane and Ken Wilson made their entry in the Dry Creek Valley as grape growers, planting their first vineyards high in the mountains of the northern part of the Dry Creek Appellation. When the opportunity arose for them to take over Mazzocco, an undulating vineyard and winery sitting on a saddle between Dry Creek and Alexander Valley, there was no turning back. Ken's passion for vineyards and growing grapes brought him to this part of Sonoma County. It was Ken’s wisdom and vision that created a diversity of vineyard sources over the years and this was a piece of property not to be missed. The Lytton Springs vineyards, with their unique terroir, provide premium quality fruit that allows our single vineyard designate Zinfandels to flourish. It also provided the Wilson's with much needed production room to make their highly sought after wines.
