Made from Cabernet Franc, the flavors bounce between macerated strawberry, red plum, and cinnamon. The grapes were hand harvested and crushed before being transferred to stainless steel tanks for fermentation.

Many of our producers employ organic and/or biodynamic farming both as a gesture of responsibility to the earth we all live in as well as for the qualitative benefits to the wines they produce. Some of these producers are also part of the so-called "Natural Wine" movement, but are always fastidious that their Natural techniques don't overwhelm the underlying terroirs or the qualitative soundness of the wines they produce. We also comb the wine world to discover and launch tiny, up-and-coming producers, such as Pierre Duroche, Margherita-Otto and Cruse Wine Co. Lastly, we have made it a foremost goal to give ample focus to some of the finest examples of traditional-style producers, such as Giuseppe Mascarello and Confuron-Cotedidot. These gorgeous wines, characterized by their elegance and purity, represent an almost “lost art,” and are so often forgotten and overshadowed by today’s bigger, flashier modern wines.
