Nose: Ripe tropical fruit, brown sugar and vanilla with caramel, toasted oak, baking spice and subtle molasses.

Palate: Rich and powerful, with banana, pineapple, caramel, vanilla and dark brown sugar layered over rye spice, toasted oak and cinnamon.

Finish: Very long and warming, with lingering tropical fruit, molasses, vanilla, oak and peppery rye spice.

Distillery Information

Angel's Envy was founded in Louisville, Kentucky, by legendary whiskey maker Lincoln Henderson and his son Wes Henderson. The brand built its identity around secondary barrel finishing, particularly the use of port wine barrels to add rich fruit character to mature whiskey. Its rye whiskey takes this philosophy further by using Caribbean rum casks for finishing, creating a distinctive combination of spicy American rye and tropical sweetness. The Louisville distillery opened in 2016 and serves as the home of the brand's production and maturation operations. Angel's Envy continues to release limited and cask-strength expressions that explore the effects of different finishing casks while maintaining the Henderson family's innovative approach to American whiskey.
