Deadhead Cask Aged Rum

Deadhead is a 6 year old rum in a bottle shaped like a shrunken head, known as a Tsantsa, a trophy kept from a defeated enemy. Unique doesn't even cut it, as far as this bottle goes. The rum itself is a blend of sugar cane juice and molasses - it is double-distilled and matured in European oak barrels for six years before being expertly blended to achieve the desired rich, spicy flavour profile.

Deadhead Cask Aged Rum Tasting Note

Nose: Deadhead Rum is rich and dark, it is saturated with the aromas of treacle, coffee, cola nut, chocolate, filbert, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Palate: Palate along with the flavors of leather, anise and caramel that all play in stupendous balance.

Finish: The finish, lingers and slowly fades with elegant flavor restatements.
