Glenfarclas 1986 Refill Sherry Butts V Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This edition represents the fifth generation of the Grant family, current Glenfarclas chairman John L.S. Grant who, alongside his father George, would have overseen the filling of these casks in 1986. Released thirty years after its creation, only 180 bottles are available in the UK.

Distillery Information

Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
