Los Magos Sotol Blanco Tequila

Los Magos Sotol production is artisanal. Starting with the sustainable wild harvest of the varieties of sotol plant that grow in the grasslands of Chihuahua, Mexico, sotol plants are cut down by hand leaving the roots and meristem to allow the plant to regrow, the heart of the plant is exposed by cutting its leaves with an axe. Distillation is done in copper pot stills. Los Magos Sotol is the only Sotol that is triple distilled for a unique profile and amazing flavor.

Nose: Bright, slightly floral, and fresh with an undertone of herbal woodiness.

Palate: Soft and smooth, with hints of honey and savory spices.

Finish: Warm, yet sweet. Reminiscent of summer rain and balmy mornings.

Los Magos Sotol was originally conceived in 2014 by native Chihuahuans who saw an opportunity to share a centuries-old tradition through a modern artisanal approach made for a contemporary audience. Sotol has a storied place in Northern Mexican culture and more recently, has gained the attention of mixologists and craft spirits enthusiasts worldwide. Los Magos Sotol offers bright and complex notes reminiscent of its birthplace, the Chihuahuan desert.
