Old Man Guavaberry Island Folk Liqueur

Guavaberry is the legendary folk liqueur of St. Maarten. It was first made here centuries ago in private homes. Read more about it in our History section. It is made from fine oak aged rum, cane sugar and ripe local guavaberries, each berry picked by hand. The fruit is found in the warm hills in the center of the island. The aged liqueur has a woody, fruity, spicy, bitter-sweet flavour all of its own.

Nose: The Nose is Smooth, balanced and elegant, with hints of roasted cinnamon.

Palate: The palate is tropical fruits and lingering sweetness.

Finish: This golden treasure is perfect neat, or on the rocks finish.

Sint Maarten Distillery is the proud manufacture and distributor of Soualiga Handcrafted Rum. Each particular product is made from distinctive ingredients, in a highly controlled environment. Every aspect of the production (proof, taste, marketing, packaging) and distribution are based in Sint Maarten.
