It was founded in 1801 in Aberdeen, Scotland. Royal Salute 21 Years was launched on 2nd June 1953 by Chivas Brothers in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her coronation as Queen of England. Royal Salute 21 Years is aged for a minimum of 21 Years and named after the traditional military honour 21-gun salute.

Nose: Soft, approachable, ripe fruit, and old oak with a dash of ginger and honey.
Palate: Soft again with sweet malt, a gentle grainy oak, and a distant smoked honey.
Finish: Delicate and smooth.
