Rare Cask Reserves Ghosted Reserve is the first release from the ghosted casks series. An exceptional one-off expression, which is not only rare but completely unrepeatable. This rich, creamy masterpiece offers notes of almond oil and zesty citrus fruit.

Nose: Orange and lime peels, with a hint of orchard blossom developing later on. Hints of toffee and raisins.

Palate: Another helping of orange peels on the palate, joined by banana and sharp tropical fruit. A touch of peppery malt.

Finish: Floral on the finish, with a slight nod towards milk chocolate buttons.

Distillery Information

Ladyburn distillery was situated to the south west of Glasgow, just outside of the Ayrshire town of Girvan. The distillery only remained open for nine years until 1975. Ladyburn was built adjunct to the Girvan single grain plant (constructed in 1963).
