Chateau Haut-Brisson is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru in the Bordeaux region of France. It produces three Merlot-dominant Grand Cru blends: La Réserve, Château Haut-Brisson, and La Grave. It is located in the south of Saint-Émilion, near the township of Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens and neighbouring Chateau Teyssier. The property also have vines close to Chateau Monbousquet. The property is almost 18 hectares (44.5 acres) in size, though a significant amount of land have been uprooted in recent years to improve the quality of the vines. The property is a classic Right Bank winery with vines averaging 40 years old. The property is planted to around 70 percent Merlot, 25 percent Cabernet Franc and 5 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine ages for a minimum of 18 months in 70 to 100 percent new French oak. Approximately 100,000 bottles of wine are produced per year. Michel Rolland has been the consultant to the winery since 2005. The property was purchased by Vignobles K in 1997, and was the first vineyard owned by an investor of Chinese descent. In 2019, the property was bought by a private investor, who retained Vignobles K to continue day-to-day operations.
