Deep dark red. Nose is amazingly concentrated with sweet cherry, roses and other flowers almost chambolle like. Palate is super concentrated and balanced with a rich red fruit.

The Bernard Van Berg estate is one of these legends of Burgundy even though it only has two small hectares. The latter are not located on any appellation since, freeing themselves from the geography of the terroirs, he only intends to produce great ordinary Burgundies, known as BGO. This being an appellation now extinct which included all the wines of the region without grade. It is therefore within this classification that Bernard Van Berg produces, in his estate located in Meursault, some of the most exciting wines in all of Burgundy. These wines are great, worked in the old way, without any recourse to chemistry. The vines are led there in stakes, and it is said of the winegrower that he knows each of his feet. Talented, he exercises his profession with passion and raises these seemingly simple wines with luxury. We recommend that you do not wait to savor them to their full extent.
