        Reviews:

        • Wine Advocate: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Las Piedras is scented of freshly crushed plums and blackberries with a loam, underbrush and crushed rock undercurrent, plus a waft of allspice. Full-bodied and tightly wound in the mouth, it has a rock-solid backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long with serious mineral layers.
        • Jeb Dunnock: As to the reds, Benoit described the Las Piedras Vineyard as the sister of the Dr. Crane Vineyard and his 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard does show some of the earthy minerality that’s common from the Dr. Cane vineyard. Charcoal, black fruits, chocolate, and plenty of crushed rock notes give way to a full-bodied, beautifully concentrated.

          Producer Information

Fait-Main is pronounced (fay-ma). In French it simply means, hand-made. And these two words succinctly summarize winemaker Benoit Touquett’s dedication to his craft and winemaking philosophy. It starts in the vineyards he works with, special sites within Napa Valley of distinguished provenance, which are meticulously farmed by hand. It also encompasses the details of winemaking in the cellar and all the touch points one needs to make to create a premium bottle of wine. Fait-Main is highly personal, it is Benoit’s own way of connecting his French roots with his efforts in Napa Valley.
