      Black Estate is a family owned winery in Waipara, North Canterbury with three north-facing hillside vineyards. The vineyards lie within 10km of each other with clay limestone soils.Black Estate is one of the region's top producers. Owned by the Naish family, Penelope and Nicholas are creating wines that are expressive, true to their home and made without any chemical residues. Rooted in Rudolf Steiner teachings, Black Estate sees each of the three vineyards in a holistic way.
