Sonoma Distilling Co. 'Alembic Pot Distilled' Sonoma Rye Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Craft oak, raw rye grain and cake spirity vanilla explode out of the glass followed by caramel and cinnamon.
Palate: The craft oak, raw rye grain and spirity vanilla accelerate across the palate towing some weak notes of dill, caramel, cinnamon and fruit.
Finish: Medium fade of raw wood, raw grain, dill, anise and spirity vanilla.
Distillery Information
Sonoma County Distilling was founded in northern California by San Francisco native Adam Spiegel in 2010. Sonoma Distilling made the old-fashioned way in hand-made Copper Stills, using the finest in Non-GMO California grains to make their whiskies.
