Nose: Bold oak, with toasted wood giving a rich backbone.

Palate: Creamy texture: soft and smooth mouthfeel. Fruit notes: peach & cream, golden raisin.

Finish: Long and warming, with oak & spice staying present as the sweetness fades toward more dried fruit or raisin tones. Lingering brown sugar, touches of vanilla, a bit of residual rye spice.

Château de Laubade
The finishing partner for these exceptional bourbons, Château de Laubade, is one of the most prestigious Armagnac estates in France. Established in 1870 and still family-owned, the château sits on 260 acres of vineyards in the Bas-Armagnac region. Grapes such as Ugni Blanc, Baco, Folle Blanche, and Colombard are cultivated and distilled on-site, then aged in Gascony oak casks crafted in their own cooperage. Renowned worldwide for quality, authenticity, and sustainability, Château de Laubade brings over 150 years of expertise to the art of Armagnac. Their casks lend Bardstown’s bourbon a unique depth of fruit, spice, and elegance—transforming each batch into a transatlantic expression of craftsmanship.
