This indie Blair Athol was distilled in 2009, and filled into a selection of five ex-bourbon casks. There it stayed for the next 11 years, until The Single Malts of Scotland bottled it up for its Reserve Casks series in 2021 at 48% ABV. This is one chocolatey Highlander, that's for sure!

Nose: Chocolate-dipped shortbread, cinnamon buns, and buttered French toast.
Palate: Smooth praline, vanilla fudge, melted milk chocolate, and sultana sweetness, with creamy macadamia.
Finish: Crunchie bar and crystallised ginger.
