At Bumbu Rum Company, we handcraft our rums from a blend of the finest sugarcane from across the West Indies. Our rum is exceptionally balanced and smooth, without sacrificing the richness and complexity that makes our Barbados distillery’s rum the world’s best – although we’re a little biased.
Nose: Madagascar vanilla, soft caramel and toasted oak
Palate: Cinnamon, roasted nuts and allspice
Finish: Mild sweetness, light and smooth
Bumbu is made at a historic Barbadian distillery founded in 1893 and continuously operated for more than 120 years. Our rum is distilled using two continuous stills. The yeast used during fermentation is a distillery secret that dates back as far as 1840, when some of our original iron pot stills were cast.

"This rum is excellent to sip on its own! It really is quite tasty by itself. But if you choose to mix it, it is BY FAR the absolute BEST with A&W cream soda. I swear to you that it is the PERFECT compliment to Bumbu Rum! I’ve mixed Bumbu with other things, but the natural flavors of Bumbu fit Perfectly with A&W cream soda. It’s like it was made specifically for that specific taste and palate! It’s wonderful!"
"Hands down 100% best rum I have ever had. I've have tried a lot of different rims from all over. I used to drink the Appleton's estate 21 yr old all the time. Well now it's bumbu that I drink. Funny thing is you can either mix it or just sip it. Either way there is no wrong way to drink this stuff. Though I do like mine with Dr pepper with a splash of vanilla. So damn good to the senses."
