This unique spirit they take a standard bourbon bill of corn, rye, wheat, and barley, then add buckwheat, triticale, spelt, oats, and quinoa for more flavor complexity. These additional grains add mouthfeel and earthy components to the taste.
Corsair Grainiac 9 Grain Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich vanilla, dark caramel, and burnt sugar, verging into leather and dark chocolate.
Palate: It’s fairly hot and very mouth-coating, almost drying. I get a little cocoa on the back of the palate.
Finish: Finish is long and smooth.

Corsair Artisan Distillery is a small-batch distilling company with distilleries in Nashville, Tennessee, and Bowling Green, Kentucky. Founded in January 2008, it is owned and operated by distillers Darek Bell and Andrew Webber and marketing specialist Amy Lee Bell.
