"Dead Man's Fingers rum started at The Rum & Crab Shack in St Ives, Cornwall, in 2015, created by Neythan Hayes to break rum traditions with local flavors like saffron cake and Pedro Ximénez ice cream, inspired by the shack's "rock-and-roll" spirit, not pirates. The name comes from crab gills called "dead man's fingers," and the skull bottle symbolizes the folklore of eating them."
