A 1998 Fettercairn single malt from indie bottler Carn Mor, matured in a single bourbon barrel for 22 years, before being bottled in October 2020 as part of its Celebration of the Cask series.
Fettercairn 1998 Celebration of the Cask Carn Mor Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: A delightfully complex spicy and perfumed nose.
Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.
Finish: A very long finish.

Fettercairn is a whisky distillery in Fettercairn. Situated under the Grampian foothills in the Howe of Mearns, Fettercairn town’s name is loosely based on the phrase "the foot of the mountain". Fettercairn is owned by Whyte & Mackay Distillers.
