Glencadam 15 Year Old 2008 Reserva de Madeira Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Candied orange peels, earthy oak, raisin and prune, chocolate peanuts, and cooking spices.
Palate: Orange blossom, allspice, vanilla, apple pie, and blackberries.
Finish: Lemon peels, caramel, and a hint of sugared almond.
Distillery Information
The Glencadam Distillery was founded in 1825, by merchant George Cooper, about 200 yards from Brechin Distillery. David Scott was proprietor from 1827 to 1837. The distillery changed hands a number of times between 1837 and 1891.
