It features intense aromas of dark fruits, chocolate, and spice, with a velvety, structured palate of plums and savoury tannins. Hand-tended and barrel-aged, it offers a long, complex finish.

Producer Information

Heirloom Vineyards is a South Australian wine producer, based in the McLaren Vale subregion of Adelaide. It was established in 2000 by Joanne and David O'Leary. "Heirloom" reflects the couple's commitment to preserving the best of tradition in the vineyard with old vines farmed organically. The Heirloom Vineyard wine portfolio features collections of wine from various subregions, primarily the Adelaide Hills. A selection of varietal, single-vineyard Syrah, Tempranillo, and a few Pinot Noirs are sourced from the Adelaide Hills, as well as a white selection of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay wines. Touriga and Grenache are sourced from McLaren Vale whilst a Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Coonawarra. A selection of Shiraz wines from the Barossa Valley completes the line-up.
