It has a good and fairly strong structure, a clear texture and is traditionally a bit oily for Alsatian wines. The nose is full of citrus aromas, with a hint of stone fruit and a hint of pear. The taste is rich and well balanced, balancing the taste of fruit with pronounced acidity and a hint of floral notes. The aftertaste is long and noticeably mineral. It is best served at a temperature of 10-12 degrees. In culinary combinations, it will work with salads with added fruit, grilled white meat or fried fish with a high fat content.
