Detailed Description
The Clan Denny series debuted at the beginning of the new century and originally consisted of an old single grain whiskey. Distribution was handled by Hunter Hamilton & Co., a subsidiary owned by brothers Stuart and Fred Laing Douglas Laing & Co. In 2013, the brothers separated and divided the company's assets. Clan Denny's latest releases include single malts and mixed Malt whiskies alongside Single grain, and their distribution is handled by Douglas McGibbon & Co., another subsidiary that is now exclusively owned by Fred Douglas Laing & Co. The Jura presented here, released in November 2009, has been aged in a refillable hogshead barrel no. DMG 15566 for over 12 years.
