Our Tennessee Rye has been “resting” quietly in our barrelhouses these past few years and we invite you to watch it mature along with us with this limited release. The spice character from the rye grain remains from the original Unaged Rye, but the barrels have begun to assert their toasted oak and vanilla notes into the rye whiskey.

Kentucky Owl Straight Rye Whiskey Batch No. 2 Tasting Notes

Nose: Notes of honey, warm cinnamon rolls from the oven ans strawberry jam.

Palate: Flavors of sweet cinnamon with brown sugar syrup.

Finish: Honey with a red pepper that lingers.

Willett Distillery, also known as Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, Ltd., is a private family-owned and -operated company that produces various brands of bourbon and rye whiskey. Over the years the company has bottled Bourbon and Rye Whiskeys that range from 2 years of aging maturity all the way up to 28 years.
