Detailed Description

The tenth chapter in Freddie Noe’s experimental Little Book series, “All the Wiser” continues the brand’s tradition of boundary-pushing blending and bold cask-strength presentation. Rich, layered, and unapologetically expressive, this release combines mature whiskey components to create a profile that balances deep oak character with vibrant sweetness and spice. As with previous chapters, the focus is on creativity and intensity while still preserving balance and drinkability.

Little Book Chapter 10: All the Wiser | Bourbon Whiskey | 2026 Release Tasting Notes

Nose: Dark caramel, toasted oak, maple syrup, baking spice, and dried fruit with hints of tobacco and roasted nuts.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful with brown sugar, charred oak, cinnamon, rich vanilla, dark cherry, and layered rye spice wrapped in dense whiskey sweetness.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering oak tannin, caramelized sugar, spice, and subtle cocoa bitterness.

Distillery Information

James B. Beam Distilling Co. launched the Little Book series under Freddie Noe, eighth-generation Beam distiller and son of Master Distiller Fred Noe. Named after Booker Noe’s childhood nickname, the series was designed as a playground for unconventional blending and whiskey experimentation outside traditional category boundaries. Each annual “chapter” explores different combinations of ages, mashbills, and whiskey styles, bottled at barrel strength to preserve maximum character. By Chapter 10, the collection had become one of the most closely followed limited-release American whiskey series among enthusiasts and collectors.
