Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2025 The Keeper's Release Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Warm baking spices, dark caramel, toasted oak, and subtle hints of dried fig and vanilla bean.

Palate: Full-bodied with notes of spiced chocolate, molasses, and roasted pecans. Mid-palate reveals dried fruit, toffee, and a hint of pipe tobacco.

Finish: Long and structured with cinnamon warmth, nutty undertones, and a drying oak close.

"Maker's Mark's origin began when T. William "Bill" Samuels Sr., purchased the Burks' Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, for $35,000 on October 1, 1953. Production began in 1954, and the first run was bottled in 1958 under the brand's dipped red wax seal (U.S. trademark serial number 73526578)."
