Detailed Description

With a name inspired by scenic rock formations in Zimbabwe, Matopos Gin aims to be so good you could just enjoy it on the rocks (geddit?). With a careful blend of botanicals, including rooibos and baobab, this dry gin is certainly a well rounded sipper, but of course would go rather well in a Dry Martini also.

Distillery Information

Matopos, which means ‘The Rocks’, is a picturesque location in South East Zimbabwe. It was the core of our inspiration when we made our first gin. Granite rocks laced in amazing fauna and flora cover the area, producing a scenic view for its visitors. It is home to the world-famous balancing rocks. These rocks stretch for miles; among them lie caves ornamented with paintings, dating back to the San people who inhabited these lands through the stone-age.
