One of the more recent additions to their range is the Miami Club Anejo Especial Rum, an aged rum offering that was developed to complement their flagship white rum. After being distilled from a blend of molasses and sugarcane juice sourced from Southern Florida, the rum is then aged in American oak barrels between 2-7 years. The final finished rum consists of 2, 4, and 7-year-old which are carefully blended to achieve the desired level of flavor, smoothness, and complexity before being finally brought to proof and bottled.
Miami Club Anejo Especial Rum Tasting Notes
Nose: Once poured, this rum yields a pleasing aroma of sugarcane, citrus, and molasses.
Palate: A sweet and full-bodied palate of more caramel, vanilla, coconut, brown sugar, and cinnamon spice.
Finish: A long and lingering finish with a mild alcohol burn.
