Indiana- Old Hamer 100 proof single barrel bourbon is taken straight from each select single barrel, non-chill filtered, and is made and bottled in Indiana. Featuring a mash bill of 99% corn and 1% malted barley, proofed to 100, this bourbon is soft, sweet, and approachable.
Old Hamer 100 Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: On the nose, sweet flavors of vanilla candy, caramel wafer, butterscotch candies, dehydrated orange segments, cinnamon, and clove.
Palate: On the palate, sweet flavors from the nose take the lead before giving way to cinnamon and oak spice.
Finish: The finish is quite nice with fruit fading slowly into spice with a pleasant nuttiness in the mix throughout.
