Old Overholt Bonded Rye Straight Whiskey

That's right, folks, a Bonded version of Old Overholt. Distilled in one season, at one distillery, and bottled at 100 proof. This straight rye whiskey is aged for four years in new, charred American oak. Product launched in February 2018 with availability limited to the US.

Old Overholt Bonded Straight Rye Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Spicy rye opens on the nose with pumpernickel bread, rich vanilla with brown sugar, and hints of sour cherries.

Palate: The palate offers baking spices such as allspice, nutmeg and cloves, with dry oak and peanut shells.

Finish: A moderate-lengthy finish showcases more rye spice and oak, with a bitter-burnt note of toast, and spearmint.
