Old Weller Gold Vein Original 107 Barrel Proof 7 Year Old 1977 Catlettsburg Livestock Sales bottling Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

This was likely distilled in the late 1960s early 1970s when Stitzel-Weller was still under the management of the legendary Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle. It was bottled in 1977 after his son, Julian II, was forced to sell the distillery to Somerset Imports, and the Van Winkle family departed the business.

A homage to the legendary Stitzel-Weller distillery, Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey uses a unique Solera System aging process to preserve some of the distillery’s oldest whiskey stocks, including some of the last bourbon produced there before it closed in 1992.
