Slightly creamy with caramel and fudge, freshly cut oak, leather, and tobacco leaves. Nougat, grated almonds, roasted hazelnuts, crème brûlée (with a neatly caramelized top). Here too: spiciness, but rather diffuse and cannot be further described. Over time menthol and tart herbs.

Palate: intense & deep, sherry, berries, sweet, fruit syrup, old wood

Finish: blackberries, berries, sherry, fruits, spicy, dark chocolate, oak, pepper, bit of vanilla

The Midleton distilleries complex is situated in Midleton, County Cork, Ireland. It is owned by Irish Distillers, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard. Located alongside is the Old Midleton Distillery, which was established in the early 17th century and now operates as a visitor centre known as the Jameson Experience.
