Nose: Molasses, mission fig, ripe pear, delicate baking spice, toasted grain, and shortbread with hints of citrus zest and cinnamon.

Palate: Rich and complex with honeycomb, baked orchard fruits, buttery pastry, zesty citrus, malted wheat sweetness, and creamy vanilla balanced by warming spice.

Maker's Mark has remained faithful to its original wheated bourbon mash bill since 1953, making Star Hill Farm Whisky one of the most significant innovations in the distillery's history. Named after the 1,100-acre farm surrounding the distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, the annual Star Hill Farm series explores the relationship between agriculture and flavor. The 2026 release blends two distinct mash bills—one composed entirely of malted wheat and another consisting of 70% wheat and 30% malted barley—utilizing soft red winter wheat, hard red wheat, and hard white wheat. The resulting whisky is a marriage of seven- and eight-year-old stocks bottled uncut at natural strength. Carrying Estate Whiskey certification, the release reflects Maker's Mark's commitment to regenerative agriculture and demonstrates how evolving grain selection can create a unique vintage expression each year while remaining rooted in craftsmanship and sustainability.
