WL Distillery First Edition Gin | 700ML

The first gin to launch from Durham's WL Distillery, this fruit-filled expression takes inspiration from the distiller's time spent in his grandad's garden. Botanicals include Braeburn apples, conference pears, raspberries, and blackberries resulting in a light and fruity profile to balance a core of piney juniper.

WL Distillery First Edition Gin | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Distillery flaunts aromas reminiscent of fresh fruit and the summer sunshine. Featuring those all-important juniper berries, the high concentration of alpha-pinene.

Palate: Silky sweet layers of crisp, fresh orchard fruits and hedgerow berries bring perfect balance to resinous juniper and hints of fresh peppercorn.

Finish: For the penultimate perfect serve, use a cabernet glass; gin needs swirling space to ensure you get the best of those delicate botanicals. Pop in a wedge of fresh lime to cut into those flavours and some ice to keep it tasting sharp and you are ready to go.
