        Reviews:

        • Wine & Spirits: From its initial scents that bring fossilized oyster shells to mind, this wine seems to defy time with its youthful energy. It has the raciness of the 1996 vintage without any aggressive edges. The power and tension of the wine feels encapsulated by the structure, yielding hints of Moorish spices and darker tones of salted plums and truffles.
        • Wine Cellar: Vivid yellow-gold. Deeply scented bouquet of dried apple, nectarine, honey, orange rind, toffee and gingerbread. Broad, palate-coating orchard and pit fruit flavors are complemented by toasty lees and spice nuances and lifted by slow-building minerality.

hampagne Bruno Paillard is an independent Champagne house located in Reims. It works with with Champagne's classic varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The house exports 75 percent of its Champagne to restaurants and fine wine stores in around 30 countries. It is known for its pure, complex, and elegant wines.Only first-pressing base wines are used throughout the portfolio. The range of "multi-vintage" wines have 20 to 50 percent reserve wine added to the base blend. This reserve wine is based on the previous vintage wine but has 20 to 50 percent from the previous year, which in turn had 20 to 50 percent and so on. Thus each wine is a blend of vintages all the way back to 1985.The estate now owns 32ha (79 acres) of vineyard, 12ha (30 acres) of which are grand crus. This holding is split among 100 different parcels, and provides 50 to 60 percent of all the fruit required for production. The remainder of fruit is sourced from independent growers from more than 30 villages.
