The remarkable 2012 Thorevilos is immensely concentrated and full-bodied with an explosive personality. It is a multi-dimensional wine that would rival, and perhaps better, any of the finest Bordeaux blends in the world.
Producer Information
David Abreu established his eponymous winery in the 1980s, purchasing the Madrona Ranch and converting it into a mix of farmland and vineyards. The Thorevilos and Capella vineyards were added a few years later and Las Posadas, a Howell Mountain vineyard, was added to the estate's holdings in the year 2000. The result is something quite unique in Napa - a collection of distinct sites all producing world class, terroir-driven Cabernet Sauvignon.
