      Detailed Description

The 2015 Symphonie de Haut-Peyraguey, the château's second wine, is lifted and weightless in the glass, with an airy expression of sweet floral and botrytised notes.

      Reviews:

      • Wine Enthusiast: This wine is ripe and offers plenty of dry botrytis to give density and longevity. With 95% Sémillon, the apricot, orange and crisp acidity are coming together well. Full but not cloying, it will be delicious from 2021.
      • Vinous: The 2015 Symphonie de Haut-Peyraguey, the château's second wine, is lifted and weightless in the glass, with an airy expression of sweet floral and botrytised notes. Gentle and moderately sweet, the Symphonie will hold considerable appeal for readers who find some of the top Sauternes too sweet or rich. Lightly honeyed notes, baked apple and vanillin add the closing shades of nuance. This is very pretty and nicely done. The Symphonie is 95% Sémillon and 5% Sauvignon.
