2018 | Benoit Dehu | Brut Nature L'Orme

This is from a 1.5 hectare of Pinot Noir planted at the bottom of the hill of Rue des Noyers parcel. Previously the plot was planted with elm trees (orme in French). A powerful blanc de noirs that has personality, complexity and a never ending finish. Only a small amount of this is made.

Benoit Dehu is an 8th generation vigneron and helps manage the family Champagne house of Dehu Pere et Fils. He chose a single 1.4 hectare site planted to Meunier and began farming it biodynamically to use for his own label wines.
