Crimson, slightly lightened edge. A very typical Primitivo nose that releases aromas of blackberries, blueberries and some Mediterranean herbs such as thyme and rosemary, accompanied by a strong mocha. A lot of melting in the expressive start, replaced by dark berry notes again, now also cherries and some liquorice, finally English mint; Some cedar and balsamic notes in the persistent, precisely vinified finish.

Cantina Sava is a successful company located in Sava (Apulia region), the heart of Primitivo di Manduria appellation area where the oldest vines of the region have laid still and silent in the same place for almost a century. In 2017 Cantina Sava and Farnese Vini decided to put their efforts together with a unique aim to produce high quality and authentic Apulian wines. In a few years the company has gained a great success, undoubtedly due to the managerial skills of the Fantini Group, but also to the long experience of the local cooperative “Cantina La Popolare di Sava". All the grapes are produced by local vine growers They are Cantina Sava’s shareholders and have worked in their vineyard since the beginning as a consequence their passion and long experience can guarantee the best result.
