2018 | Terra Vita Vinum | Anjou Villages Brissac Rouge de Schiste

The spirit of this Richou Rouge de Schiste was to make an Anjou Brissac, of a new style, to celebrate the new creation of the appellation! The nose suggests ripe Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon. In the mouth, we appreciate the soft tannins and a good balance. After the very marked notes of red and black fruit, the finish gives a real feeling of freshness.

Terra Vita Vinum is first and foremost a family story and it begins with the Domaine Richou in 1979, when Didier Richou decided to join forces with his parents Henri and Gisèle. The years pass, the doamine is taken over by the children (Damien joins Didier) and 2009 marks the transition to organic farming for this Domaine d'Anjou. In October 2019, Didier claimed his retirement rights and three passionate new vintners joined forces with Damien to take over from Didier: Bénédicte Petit, Christophe Aubineau and Luc Briand. In 2020 the domaine will officially make its transition to biodynamics. He then decided to review its image and its name in order to highlight the values of biodynamics: TERRA VITA VINUM (while keeping the signature of Domaine Richou).
