Producer Information
Fratelli Revello is a Piedmont wine producer located in the La Morra district within the Barolo territory. It produces a range of single-vineyard Barolo wines from the Nebbiolo grape, as well as a range of other regional wines. The Revello family have been cultivated grapes in the region since 1954, with the inugural vintage of Barolo produced in 1967. There are around 12 hectares (30 acres) of vineyards in total, including just under 4ha (10 acres) of Barolo cru sites. The portfolio includes a standard Barolo and a single-vineyard cuvée for each of the four cru sites. Revello also produces Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo as well as The Whole, a blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Barolo wines are aged in French barriques, with the percentage of new oak dependent upon the vineyard and characteristics of the wine. A modern apporach to winemaking is taken in the winery with fermentation taking place in rotofermenters.
